James Namiki

James focuses primarily on patent prosecution and IP portfolio development. James’ technical background is diverse, including degrees in both chemical engineering and electrical engineering. During his +15 years as a patent attorney, James has represented a wide range of clients from solo inventors and startups, to large international companies, in various fields, from simple mechanical devices to complex mechanical systems, optical systems, microprocessor designs, software, mobile applications, and wireless networks. Before joining DWC, James worked as an associate for a large Washington DC firm and as in-house counsel.
